The re-launch has begun for the original composite Catalyst slowpitch bat, but the new version in blind tests is even better than the original. The yellow Caddie is back and better than ever. This bat changed the composite bat market forever. Approved for play in ISF, ISA, NSF, USSSA not ASA Certified. New LS-2X Composite has thinner and high strength lightweight graphite fibers allowing TPS Louisville Slugger to reduce wall thickness and thus achieve greater barrel flex while maintaining durability. Our new thinner walled LS-2X Composite material has higher strength lighter weight graphite fibers allowing Louisville Slugger to reduce wall thickness even using more layers of graphite creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner fibers allow the use of more layers in the barrel for added strength, but with an overall wall that is thinner.
