This glove utilizes more of a flatter pattern and was designed for the positions that require the player to use two hands to scoop up the ball. The Conventional back on the PROS15ICB was made with an additional break point that allows it to be easier to squeeze. This model is geared towards the middle infielder, especially towards a shortstop that wants the two handed scooping function. The glove’s I Web™, patented by Rawlings in 1940, conforms to a lighter, smaller web desired by infielders. As the web does not tie to the crotch of the glove, the laces allow you to better shape the pocket.
